The Law of Attraction is the one Universal Law that almost everyone in the Western world has heard of, but many are wondering if it really works.

Like Attracts Like Magnet

Gurus of all types are offering workshops, seminars, and a seemingly endless stream of products and services promising to teach people how to "use" the Law of Attraction. On the opposite end of the table, lots of folks who have tried some of the methods frequently taught concerning this Universal Law have found themselves disappointed and frustrated, and warn others not to set themselves up for similar failure. So, who is right? Does the Law of Attraction really work?

Movies such as The Secret, based on the book of the same title by Rhonda Byrnes, and The Shift by the late Dr. Wayne Dyer, helped to bring this topic into the popular dialogue. What had once been of interest only to the self-help crowd and those studying metaphysics and similar fields became a theme in everyday conversation. Like all fads, the allure of the Law of Attraction has drawn lots of people who have only a surface interest, and therefore a surface level of familiarity with the topic. This accounts for the majority of people who have not had success trying to apply the law.

So, if one gains an in-depth knowledge of the Law of Attraction, will it work? The short answer is, with a few other necessary elements in place, yes. Emphatically, yes! The good news is that anyone can learn how to apply this Universal law, and it will work for any person who applies it correctly. It just takes a willingness to truly open one's mind to a new way of thinking and believing, a genuine desire for a better reality of one's own choosing, persistence, and patience.
